About Us
Vestis Corporate Clothing Ltd is a small independent family business, established in 2004 in Surrey, and now based in Petersfield, Hampshire. It was founded after the company Julie had been consulting for decided to pull out of the corporate clothing business, leaving their biggest customer without a uniform supplier. This customer was a small business airline with around 150 uniformed staff. It was Julie who had designed many of their garments and accessories, and had organised and managed the manufacture, stock control and distribution of the whole uniform for their pilots and cabin crew, as well as measuring and fitting staff across their European operational hubs in France, Germany and Switzerland. We were able to take over the contract and continue the relationship, supplying exactly the same garments and accessories, and allowing an easy transition between suppliers with no interruption to the service for the customer.
For a number of years afterwards we served mostly small aviation-related businesses, through contacts made during the fifteen years Julie had previously worked in the uniforms department
of a leading global airline based at Heathrow Airport. During this time, she spent three years fitting and measuring staff for their uniforms, then moved to their Third Party Uniforms division, to design and sell corporate clothing to other companies of all sizes, including well-known international companies both in and outside the aviation industry. It may sound odd that an airline was selling uniforms to third party businesses, but although they no longer offer this service, for a long time the income helped to subsidise the costs of the airline’s own staff uniforms.
These days we cater for most public-facing industries that require corporate clothing, particularly funeral directors, and can also supply hi-vis clothing and workwear.
By offering purpose-made, factory stock-supported corporate clothing from brands that are well known and highly regarded in the corporate wear industry, we can provide quality garments in a wide range of sizes and with ongoing availability, so you can continue to provide uniforms to new recruits that match existing staff uniforms without having to invest in your own stock.
We don’t have expensive premises to maintain or hold large amounts of stock, so we can keep our service streamlined and our overheads low. This allows us to sell at competitive prices without compromising on the quality of our products or our service.
